Global Partners LP Donates $2 Million To Provide Heating Oil for Families in Need Across the Northeast

As the Northeast faces unprecedented uncertainty and challenges in the energy market, Global Partners LP has donated $2 million to provide heating oil for those in need. The donation was directed to seven states in the Northeast and distributed to local nonprofit entities serving low-income households.

  • $1.3 million was evenly split between Massachusetts and New York.

Global Partners Launched First Annual Student Design Competition: Fuel the Future 2030

As transportation is quickly changing with a higher focus on decarbonization and consumer demand for high-quality goods, Global saw the need to rethink the fueling station. In 2022, Global launched its first student design competition asking college and graduate students to design what they saw as a fueling station of the future. Global Partners Has Largest Class of Summer Interns for 2022 Summer Intern Program

Global Partners held another successful internship program this year. Thirty-two students spent 10 weeks with 19 different Global departments. They were given the opportunity to gain skills and exposure working full-time and had the same flexible work options as full-time employees. In addition to their day-to-day work, they had the opportunity to:

  • Attend weekly lunch and learn sessions with executives
  • Participate in a personal development workshop
  • Work on a group research project for the end of the program and present their findings to our executive team
  • Take field trips to our terminals and stores
