Global unveils its first company-owned EV charging station in Worcester

As part of its efforts to diversify into more alternative fuels, Global Partners has activated its first company-owned electric vehicle charging station. The DC fast-charging station, which includes two vehicle chargers, is located at Global’s XtraMart convenience and fueling station at 280 Providence St. in Worcester, Massachusetts.

“As we transition our energy sources, Global plans on moving its business into those alternative energy sources, whether they’re electric or renewable liquid fuels,” said Global CEO Eric Slifka at a ribbon-cutting event on Sept. Global looks back on a fruitful 2022

Innovative microgrid adds solar power, resiliency to Alltown Fresh in Massachusetts

An Alltown Fresh convenience store in Ayers, Mass., can now charge electric vehicles and stay powered during outages thanks to a cutting-edge, solar-powered microgrid that’s been installed at the site.

Global Raises +$20,000 for Mark & Mocha’s Roll/Stroll to Combat Hunger

On November 7, Mark Roberts and his labradoodle, Mocha, rolled over the finish line in his electric wheelchair in Provincetown, Massachusetts, after a seven-week journey across the state to raise awareness and funds to combat hunger. Global Partners is proud to have raised  $21,116 for Mark’s 4Huger initiative, helping the duo reach their goal of raising $100,000 for food banks in Massachusetts communities. Global Supports The Genesis Foundation with The Giving Pump

Global Partners has been a consistent supporter of The Genesis Foundation for Children » and their mission to fund programs and services that treat families affected by rare diseases and genetic disorders.
