Maura McDonough was appointed Chief People Officer of Global Partners in 2022, after serving in key HR leadership positions with the company since 2017. As CPO, she leads strategic people initiatives to support the shifting nature of the energy business, including a robust talent attraction and management group; DEI programming; employee relations and benefits; and the ever-evolving world of HR information systems.
Maura has held leadership positions in every facet of human resources. She has significant experience with major mergers and acquisitions, specializing in integrating company cultures and HR practices for a smooth transition. She holds a bachelor’s degree from UMass Boston and MBA from Northeastern University. A native of South Boston, Maura spends her summers on the Cape captaining her small boat on the Bass River alongside her golden retriever, aptly-named, Summer.
