Cold Flow Posting

See the latest performance data for Diesel One®

We test Diesel One® for cold flow operability from November 1 through March 31. This is done to provide our valued customers with specifications outlining at which ambient temperature thresholds the fuel will perform to.

While using the cold flow posting below, please note:

  • Samples are at the lab and we'll post CFPP & Cloud as results become available.
  • All temperatures are reported in Fahrenheit.
  • CFPP, or Cold Filter Plugging Point (ASTM D6371), is the temperature level at which a fuel filter will plug due to the crystallization or gelling of paraffin wax in fuel. CFPP is considered the lowest operating temperature of ULSD in a diesel engine.
  • Cloud Point (ASTM D5773) is the temperature level at which paraffin wax in ULSD begins to crystallize as the fuel cools.
  • The CFPP and Cloud Point temperatures listed are for fuel at the corresponding terminal on the day of loading. Global Partners and its direct and indirect subsidiaries assume no responsibility for the performance of such fuel once commingled downstream from that terminal.
