Giving in 2023
Helpsy donation bins
Unwanted clothes often end up in the trash – but since last year, we've partnered with Helpsy to help change that. We started by adding 12 collection bins at our retail locations, where our customers can recycle clothes, shoes, and accessories. Now we have nearly 40, and we look forward to adding more! As of March, 2025 our impact includes:
- 136K+ pounds of clothes collected
- 1.19M+ kg of CO2 emissions avoided
- 17.13M+ gallons of water saved
Community efforts
At Global, our charitable mission is to keep our communities growing, moving, and thriving. That includes robust corporate giving programs, volunteering, and charitable efforts though our company-sponsored nonprofit, The Global for Good Fund.
Sustainability
We're committed to being part of the energy transition — acting thoughtfully and conducting our business more sustainably. In the past few years, we've invested in low-carbon fuels and a voluntary carbon offset program, installed EV charging stations across multiple fueling locations, and equipped every new Alltown Fresh® with EV charging infrastructure. We've also worked with regional energy leaders to advance clean energy solutions in our communities, so we can better serve our customers and the environment.
Governance
We uphold strong corporate governance, ensuring transparency and ethical business practices. Our Board of Directors includes six members, with four independent directors across key committees. We enforce strict compliance policies, including a Code of Conduct, Anonymous Reporting Hotline, and cybersecurity risk management programs, while also fostering diversity with 48% of our workforce being female and 28% of leadership roles being held by women.
