Global Partners and Coca-Cola® Launch “Cheers for a Cause” to Celebrate the Season of Giving with Free Drinks and Charitable Donations
Holiday program invites Bee’s Knees Benefits™ members to choose a charity and enjoy a complimentary Coca-Cola beverage each week
Waltham, Mass. (November 7, 2025) – Cheers for a Cause is here to make the holidays more meaningful, one drink, one choice, and one donation at a time. This seasonal program, created by Global Partners in partnership with Coca-Cola, invites members of the Bee’s Knees Benefits loyalty program to support a charitable cause each week simply by selecting a nonprofit and enjoying a free participating Coca-Cola beverage. For every participation, Global donates to the chosen charity throughout the season.
“Every sip is a chance to do something good,” said Laura Derba, Senior Vice President of Retail Operations at Global Partners. “We love seeing members make their favorite Coca Cola drink even more meaningful by turning it into support for a cause they care about. It’s fun, simple, and it really adds up for our communities.”
Members can choose to support one of the following deserving charities: Classroom Champions, which connects students with Olympic and professional athlete mentors who teach perseverance, teamwork, and goal setting to help kids thrive in and out of the classroom; Haulin’ for Hunger, which delivers thousands of fresh meals and groceries to food pantries throughout New England; and the Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital, which provides world-class pediatric care with cutting-edge treatments. After selecting a charity, members will receive a free 20 oz Coke®, Sprite®, or smartwater® in their loyalty account. For each selection, Global will donate to the chosen charity, with a goal of contributing $50,000. Each week, members can return to the Cheers for a Cause site to choose a charity and receive another free beverage, up to 10 times throughout the campaign. That’s a potential $25.00 donated per member and a new opportunity to give and refresh every week. All free drink rewards are valid through January 31, 2026.
This year’s program is available at all Bee’s Knees Benefits participating locations across the Northeast, Virginia, and Texas including Alltown Fresh®, Alltown™, XtraMart®, Jiffy Mart, Honey Farms®, Wheels®, and Millers®.
