Alltown Fresh® Launches “Tacos That Give Back” Campaign in Honor of Military Appreciation Month
Fourth annual initiative donates a portion of taco sales to local veteran organizations across four states
Waltham, Mass. (May 1, 2026) – Alltown Fresh is putting purpose behind every plate this May with the return of its “Tacos That Give Back” campaign. This initiative turns a simple order into meaningful support for local veterans and their families. In honor of Military Appreciation Month, Alltown Fresh, the flagship retail brand of Global Partners, a liquid energy supplier and retail operator, will donate a portion of proceeds from every taco sold to veteran organizations across Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and New York, giving guests an easy, impactful way of giving back with every bite.
“Military Appreciation Month is a powerful reminder to recognize the sacrifices made by service members and their families,” said Laura Derba, Senior Vice President of Retail Operations at Global Partners. “At Alltown Fresh, that commitment is rooted in our core pillars: hospitality, fresh, local, and community. ‘Tacos That Give Back’ brings those values to life by welcoming guests, serving fresh, chef-crafted food, and supporting local veteran organizations. We’re proud to offer a simple, meaningful way for guests to give back with every purchase.”
Now in its fourth year, the campaign reflects Alltown Fresh’s ongoing commitment to the communities it serves and the men and women who have served the country. Throughout May, guests can choose from three chef-crafted taco options, Pollo Rojo, Pork Carnitas, and Wild Fable Mushrooms, priced at $3.99 each or three for $10.99, available at all 17 Alltown Fresh locations.
Proceeds from the campaign will benefit veteran organizations in each state, including:
- Connecticut: CT Fallen Heroes
- Massachusetts: Military Friends Foundation
- New Hampshire: Operation Renewed Freedom
- New York: Honor & Remember (NY Chapter)
“Support from community partners like Alltown Fresh directly strengthens the mission to stand beside our veterans, service members, and the families who carry the weight of service every day,” said Sarah Sweeney, Executive Director and Army wife, Military Friends Foundation. “Programs like ‘Tacos That Give Back’ do more than raise funds; they send a clear message that this community honors sacrifice and refuses to forget those who have served. That kind of support matters, and it keeps us moving forward.”
Beyond the month of May, Alltown Fresh supports everyday heroes year-round by offering free coffee to military personnel, police officers, and first responders at all locations.
The campaign runs from May 1 through May 31 at all Alltown Fresh locations. Guests can learn more and find a nearby store by visiting alltownfresh.com.
