For the third consecutive year, Alltown Fresh proudly celebrated National Coffee with a Cop Day across all of our locations in the Northeast, as well as at our sister store, Honey Farms™ Market. This day of recognition is held annually on the first Wednesday of October and brings together community members and law enforcement in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Launched nationally in 2016, Coffee with a Cop aims to foster trust and strengthen relationships between law enforcement officers and the communities they serve. This year’s turnout showed that the message continues to resonate and grow.

On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, more than 120 officers from local police departments, including Chiefs, Detectives, and State Troopers, attended the gatherings, increasing overall participation from 2024. Seven comfort dogs joined the fun, offering plenty of tail wags and smiles. The community response was equally enthusiastic, with 192 community members taking part, doubling more than last year’s turnout.

Coffee with a Cop

Across the Alltown Fresh and Honey Farms Market locations, heartfelt stories and meaningful conversations unfolded:

  • Alltown Fresh Hopkinton welcomed 20 community members, including two guests who came specifically to speak with Hopkinton Police Officers in a safe, comfortable setting. One gentleman with ASD traveled from Douglas, MA after seeing the event on Facebook. A dedicated police radio enthusiast and patch collector, he was delighted when one of the officers returned to the station to bring him patches for his collection.
  • Alltown Fresh Marlborough saw one of its regular guests stop by to chat with officers about ongoing street closures in the area, an example of a simple, direct conversation that embodies the spirit of the event: open dialogue between residents and local law enforcement.
  • At Honey Farms Market Braintree, 12–15 guests engaged in heartfelt discussions with the Chief and officers. Many shared personal stories, from appreciation for officers’ professionalism and compassion supporting children with mental health challenges, to lighter moments like a gentleman who happily enjoyed a donut with an officer, joking that it was a treat his wife usually wouldn’t allow.

Alltown Fresh looks forward to continuing this growing tradition in the years ahead and strengthening bonds, sharing stories, and proving that community begins with connection.
