Global Partners, supporters raise more than $352,000 for Cystic Fibrosis | Multiple Sclerosis Fund

At its annual multiday Cape Event, Global Partners and a wide range of supporters helped raise more than $352,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis|Multiple Sclerosis Fund. Held this year in Falmouth, Mass., June 2-3, the event featured golfing and fishing options, a silent auction, a cocktail hour, dinner and an inspirational presentation.

“We couldn’t be happier with the results of this year’s Cape event,” said Eric Slifka, president and CEO of Global Partners. “People really stepped up this year, whether they attended in person, sponsored from afar, donated raffle items or lent a hand in making the event such a success. We couldn’t have done it without them and their generous support of this important organization.”

The 21st annual event continued Global’s longstanding support of the CFMS Fund, which donates funding to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Since the fund’s founding in 2009, it has donated close to $3 million to the two organizations.

The CFMS Fund is at the heart of Global’s charitable efforts and stems from the Slifka family’s personal connection to the two diseases.
