Global Partners Stepped Up to the Plate to Support New Windsor Little League

In 2021, the New Windsor Little League faced a year of challenges that left the team without the resources to prepare for the season. Global Partners saw the need to help and sponsored $1,000 for the league and paid for all the sponsorship signs, allowing all $3,500 raised to go directly to the league.

Global Partners’ Newburgh/New Windsor Complex is an integral part of the New England and New York energy network. The complex employs 31 people across four distinct terminals helping fuel homes, vehicles and the local economy of the area.

To help the league this year, Global Partners went a step further and took over field maintenance at the complex. Global supplies soil for the infield and paint for the baseline, along with gasoline for onsite equipment. Terminal employees across all four sites have also put in many hours of volunteer work each week.

“We are happy we could help the team keep playing and are excited to work with them again this year.” Ty Kropp, Newburgh/New Windsor Complex Manager.

Through the help of Global Partners’ donations and volunteer time, the New Windsor Little League plans to host baseball at its complex for the first time in about two years.
