Global Partners Donates $182,500 to 365 Schools Across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic

Continuing its commitment to investing in local communities, Global Partners has donated $182,000 to 365 schools throughout New England, New York, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

The donations, which come from Global’s collaboration with ExxonMobil and its partnership with Educational Alliance, will specifically help fund Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) programs in the schools.

“We are so excited to help grow STEM programming for our local schools,” said Mark Cosenza, senior vice president with Global Partners. “Being involved in the Educational Alliance Program has been something we look forward to each year, and we’re happy to make investments in the communities where we live and work.”

Schools will get grants of $500 each to help support their STEM programs. A Global Partners Territory Manager will deliver the grants to each school.

“The generosity of individuals and organizations such as yourself shows a commitment to the future of all our students and to the future of our community,” said Michael Bergerson, Superintendent of Marlborough Public Schools in Massachusetts. “I wish to thank you for the recent donation. The funds will help support STEM related activities at the schools”
