Max Slifka
Max Slifka serves as Senior Vice President of Real Estate at Global, where he oversees the company’s Retail and Ventures verticals. The Retail vertical encompasses Investments, Development and Construction, and Asset and Property Management for a portfolio of over 900 locations. The Ventures vertical focuses on non-core real estate investments, including the redevelopment of select assets for higher and better alternative uses. The Ventures platform has over 5,000,000 square feet of mixed-use development in permitting.
Over the course of his career, Max has been involved in more than $4 billion in real estate transactions, with direct oversight of nearly $1.5 billion in acquisitions, ground-up development, dispositions, and recapitalizations.
Max joined Global in September 2022, as Director of Real Estate Ventures, following five years at The Wingate Companies, a real estate private equity and development firm, where he most recently served as Assistant Vice President and a member of the Investment Committee.
He earned a BSBS in Finance and Management, Leadership & Innovation from Georgetown University, and holds certificates in International Finance and Comparative Strategic Management from Oxford University in the U.K.
In addition to his professional work, Max is deeply committed to philanthropy. He is actively involved with Global for Good, Boston Children’s Hospital, 2Life Communities, and Team IMPACT, and previously served as Co-Chair of the Sole Train 1,000 Campaign for Trinity Boston Connects.
