Global recognizes and thanks its front-line employees that are serving local communities across the Northeast and mid-Atlantic
At gas stations, convenience stores and fuel terminals throughout the Northeast, thousands of employees of Global Partners LP have been helping people get the food and fuel they need throughout the COVID-19 crisis
Global was looking for a creative and personal way to thank these employees for their service. The answer? Creating more than 3,000 handcrafted family meals and provision boxes for its frontline employees.
“We were thinking, ‘How is it that we can take care of all of those associates and terminal operators that have been on the frontline since the start of the whole Covid crisis?’” said Eric Slifka, Global Partners’ CEO. “It’s really about finding ways to make a difference and delivering that difference to everybody that we work with.”
Watch the video below to see how we worked with Joshua Smith, our Director of Culinary Innovations, to create and deliver more than 3,000 handcrafted family meals and provision boxes for the Global employees who are helping to keep communities up and running.
The COVID-19 pandemic is impacting everyone, including Global Partners LP. Our operations have been deemed essential because we help people heat their homes, fill up their gas tanks and pick up essential provisions.
Powering these efforts is our dedicated team of employees. We are here to say Thank You to each and every one of them:
- To our office-based staff who are working from home
- To our retail and fueling station employees helping people get the fuel and food they need
- To our terminal crews who are keeping America – its gas stations, essential businesses and health care system – running
You all have our sincere gratitude.
Community and family are at the heart of Global. During this pandemic, we are also contributing to local organizations and donating meals to families and health care workers throughout our network.
Like you, we look forward to life returning to normal. At Global Partners, we’re thankful to have a team making it just a bit easier for everyone along the way.
